SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER/OFFICER (ASIA PACIFIC)
Sarawak - Kuching

Job Summary:

Manage and handle customer accounts in the according Asia region. Besides the responsibility of the sales and customer account management, the function contains a group wide responsibility in respect to X-FAB products and global manufacturing.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Commercial handling and sales support of our silicon foundry customers.
  • Includes basic technical response on proper utilization of process technologies and design kits within a defined region supported by the Technical Hotline and Marketing organization.
  • Handling of basic contracts (such as NDAs) with business partners.
  • To work closely with our customer service teams and fabs in the USA, Malaysia and Germany.
  • To interface with new and potential customers to identify their needs and fit them to X-FAB’s services and process technologies.
  • To support Field Sales Engineers in China and if necessary other regions in Asia in customer relations.
  • Provide analysis and back office support to the world-wide sales organization.
  • Any other assignment deems fit that shall be given to you from time to time.

    Requirements:

  • Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science/Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry.
  • Technical understanding and interest in technological processes during the manufacturing of micro-electronic modules.
  • Competent in using standard business software (MS Office) and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Professional experience in Sales, Customer Service or related areas with customer interaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent, flexible and customer-oriented personality.
  • Able to speak and write Chinese and English fluently.
